Tip of the Day...
Virtual Printing Units (VPU's) are allocated to current GT students, faculty and staff and can be used to print in the LWC and LEC by using the print release stations near the printers.
Productivity Cluster
The LWC Productivity Computer Cluster is located on the first floor of the Library just inside the main entrance and adjacent to the Information Services Desk. The clusterfollows the Library hours of operation.

Cluster Services:
Computers
The LWC Productivity Computer Cluster is equipped with 85 workstations for GT users: 75 Dell computers with either single or dual 17" flat panel displays, and 10 iMac computers. Additionally, there are 4 visitor computers adjacent to the Productivity Cluster near the Information Services Desk.
Anyone can use the visitor computers, but all other computers in the cluster require an active GT account (including GT Active Directory) to log on.
View software available in the Productivity Cluster
Computers are available on a first come basis with little restriction of use with the exception of scanning priority on the machines equipped with scanners. During peak times, users may need to briefly wait in "the queue" for an available computer.

Scanners
The LWC Productivity Cluster is eqipped with 10 document/photo scanners attached to the iMac computers. There is an additional walk-up, express scanning station attached to a Dell computer near the black and white printers.
Printers
The LWC Productivity Cluster has 2 black-and-white print stations and 1 color print station. The black-and-white print stations are located at opposite ends of the cluster, and the color print station is located behind the User Assistant station in the middle of the cluster. An additional color print station is available in the Multimedia Studio.

Support
User Assistants are generally available in the Productivity Cluster to provide technical and customer support. Additional support is available from Library staff at the Information Services Desk.

Wireless Access
Wireless access points are available throughout the LWC and Productivity Cluster. Service is provided by GT LAWN.
